This magnificent mahogany bed, veneered with fine feathered mahogany, is an exact copy of a bed at Brodsworth Hall in South Yorkshire.The original was made by an English furniture maker in 1904 who took his inspiration from a Louis Philippe lit bateau. He gave the design an English twist by including grand, carved lion’s feet. Brodsworth is also available in a variety of fine wood veneers and hand applied gold and silver leaf finishes including polished Sienna Mahogany.
