We have a great opportunity to join the Arighi Bianchi Distribution centre team as a furniture inspector. A key part of the role will be to inspect furniture prior to it going out to our customers.
This is a full-time position, 42 ½ hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Ability to work on own initiative.
Eye for detail
Will need to carry out small repairs on furniture
Will involve some lifting
Having previously worked within the furniture industry would be an advantage

DISTRIBUTION CENTRE OPERATIVE
We are recruiting for a team member to join our at our distribution centre. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who is happy to work in hot or cold conditions, who can work as part of a team or on their own and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize accuracy above all else, so we require a DC Worker who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Pick merchandise from the distribution centres and transport it to the delivery bay
Assemble a varied amount of merchandise for delivery
Ensure merchandise are put in correct van runs based on information given
To take in merchandise for delivery and verify its contents
To ensure warehouse is clean, tidy, and always adhered to the health and safety standards set
Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately
Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
GCSEs or equivalent preferred
Current forklift licence would be a plus
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work on feet and be able to carry and lift objects
Able to work in a fast paced environment
