“2019 has brought in new trends which we can’t wait see more of. Here’s how to style them with some of our favourite pieces from Arighi Bianchi”

Sustainable designs and shades of green

Now more than ever brands are paying attention to the environment, introducing new eco-friendly materials and using reclaimed elements.

The desire of feeling more connected with nature is also expressed with lots of plants to bring the outside inside our homes.

In terms of colours earthy, deep tones are very much ‘in’. Deep blues and greens will continue to soar, followed up by prune, dusty tones and ochres and muted oranges.

We’ve seen a lot of earthy colours at Salone del Mobile in Milan last year and it looks they will rein dominant this year too.

White interior with a pop of colour

Make elegant white spaces interesting with the use of colour. For smart results, use bold artworks and some patterns, it will make your space look super stylish.

Retro glam

Upholstered walls, luxury fabrics, painted furniture and clean surfaces can make a space look very sophisticated.

Complete this look with bright colours and streamlined furniture to create more space.

Bold geometric patterns and artworks

An interior designer’s dream! Large artworks, accessories and patterns can really make a room and there’s great fun to be had when decorating. Cluster artwork to really make a statement that fits this trend.

Finally, just a couple of other trends to watch closely and consider when you come to update your interiors are Matte Black Walls and Marble accessories.

Expect to see a rise in matte walls, especially in darker tones or black for a dramatic look. Meanwhile, the sophisticated material that is marble is all over the interior landscape so keep an eye out for wallpapers, furniture and home accessories.
