Are you throwing a Halloween party this weekend or just wanting to dress the house with some spook factor?
Dressing a home for Halloween can be great fun, using good old plastic bats and fake cobwebs or even stylish metallic pumpkins, spooky antique glass and mood-setting candles. Where the first option will distract from your homes everyday look, the latter will not only enhance your personal style but add a distinctly moody vibe that’s perfect for Halloween.
With the seasonal holiday approaching, we’ve seen tonnes of inspiration when it comes to decorating pumpkins and setting the table. Here’s a few we fell in love with!
Searching on Pinterest and Google you will find so many ways to decorate your pumpkins, that you’ll be spoilt for choice! We personally love how some people have used metallic paint against matte greys and whites to really make their pumpkins pop!
And instead of the usual carving method, why not try using a drill or apple corer to create intricate patterns that can be highlighted with candlelight.
We tried out the paint method on a few small pumpkins ourselves. Not to toot our own horn but we think they look quite nifty!
Once you’ve designed your pumpkins it’s time to style your surface, whether it’s a dining table, console unit or your coffee table. Add foliage, candles, antique looking glass or lanterns and you’re good to go! Here’s a few we’d love to get our claws on!
Two of our bestselling dining ranges are the Santiago and the Blake, which are a perfect canvas’ for creating the most effective Halloween table setting. With their reclaimed texture and finishes, they fit seamlessly into the scheme of a spectacularly spooky soirée.
Happy haunting this weekend! We’re off to sharpen our fangs!
