Whether you want to create a calm and tranquil haven, or a bold and bright room, we’ve got everything you need to kit out your space. To give you some more dressing room ideas, we took a peek inside reality star Zara McDermott’s dressing room, which she’s kitted out with glamorous and stylish pieces from Arighi Bianchi. Inside Zara McDermott’s luxurious dressing room Media personality Zara McDermott, who rose to fame after her appearance on Love Island in 2015, has made great efforts to create an iconic, luxurious space in her dressing room, embracing a distinct 1920s feel. Zara crafted this space using a range of retro, 1920s-inspired dressing room furniture and accessories, including the show-stopping Lily Dressing Table with its luscious ripple texture. The table is completed with the simple yet timeless Lily Gallery Dressing Room Mirror, creating the perfect space to get pampered and prepared for her day. Zara had her eye on a lot of these pieces long before she brought her dressing room plans to life. “I actually had this furniture on my original moodboard for the room around a year ago,” she explains, “so the fact that I managed to get it was absolutely amazing”. This setup is also ideal for those who don’t have space for a full dressing room. The table and mirror, paired with a comfy dressing room chair, can easily slot into a quiet corner of your bedroom, allowing you to experience some of the tranquillity of a dressing space too. A neutral and calming space We love the way Zara’s kept a neutral colour palette with soft pops of pink to add to the calming vibe of her dressing room. “It’s so pink and girly without being too in your face,” Zara explains. The pretty floral accessories and gorgeous wallpaper panelling also add to this unique space. Zara’s cosy Lulu Rug is super soft with a pile height of 37mm, meaning it feels luxurious and soft underfoot too - perfect for when you’re getting dressed on a cold winter’s morning. She chose the 120cmx170cm rug in the colour ivory. Dressing room ideas to inspire your space Zara’s dressing room is both stylish and functional. Her gorgeous Lily 3 Drawer Chest adds to the retro feel of the space, but also provides much needed storage space for clothes, jewellery and more. Another practical yet iconic piece is Zara’s Arcadia Cream Stool, which is from our new collection of luxury furniture and accessories from Eichholtz. This cosy, statement piece has the power to completely transform any space. It’s all about lighting In any dressing room, it’s essential to have the right lighting. Zara has ensured that her dressing room is drenched with natural light, including large mirrors to amplify and reflect that light around the room. She’s also included soft lighting in her space for those darker evenings, including the statement Lustre Glass Ball and Gold Floor Lamp. This creates a cosy and welcoming atmosphere that’s just perfect for a dressing room. Dressing room ideas to inspire your space Zara McDermott’s dressing room is definitely one of our favourites. The show-stopping furniture, timeless aesthetic and unmistakably luxurious feel make it one that really stands out, and Zara loves it too. “Every single time I walk in this room, it makes me feel happy,” she says. And that’s what it’s all about. If you’d like to recreate Zara’s space yourself, you can find many of the statement pieces here at Arighi Bianchi.
