Arighi Bianchi Wins Best Furniture Retailer in the UK

Forget everything you think you know about a furniture store. Today, our iconic Macclesfield store is part showroom, part café, part creative hub - and now, officially, the UK’s Best Furniture Retailer (1–3 Stores), as voted by Interiors Monthly readers in the magazine’s 2025 annual awards.

For over 170 years, Arighi Bianchi has been a family-run destination for beautiful, high-quality furniture. But like many heritage brands, we faced a challenge: how to stay true to our values while appealing to a new generation of shoppers.

Instead of chasing trends or losing sight of our roots, we’ve transformed our store into a space for inspiration, experiences, and connection. We launched our very first own-brand collections - designed with you in mind - and filled our showroom with room sets that spark ideas. We partnered with cult London brand Grind to bring our customers the perfect barista-made coffee at in-store eatery, Caffè AB. And we made our Postcards From… campaigns a highlight of the year, turning interiors into global journeys - from Japanese craftsmanship to sustainable South African style.

These days, a visit to Arighi Bianchi is a lot more than just furniture shopping. It could be lunch at Caffè AB with a menu themed to our latest destination, browsing an exclusive product drop, joining a creative workshop, or bringing the family to one of our seasonal events.

This summer’s exciting ‘Postcards From South Africa’ partnership with Chester Zoo has brought wildlife to our storefront, created fundraising events for global conservation, and given customers even more reasons to visit.
