Description

A new design for the Mad Men collection. It shows¬†a surface of cracked ice, as on the ice rink of Rockefeller Square.

It also represents the world below the surface, the¬†deep blue of the abyss, the¬†darkness of the mineshaft with the lode of gold¬†at the bottom, or the far corners of¬†a pinewood forest.

The Mad-ison men were¬†the golden boys of the sixties, who dreamed up the images of the iconic brands of the USA. Inspired by this theme,¬†Louis De Poortere¬†has created a new collection of vintage sixties rugs.

A mix of straight and broken lines, of dull and shining yarns, of smooth and ragged pencil strokes.
