A Magical Day at Arighi Bianchi: Festive Fun for All the Family!
Last Saturday, 13th December, our iconic Macclesfield store was buzzing with festive cheer as over 1,200 visitors joined us for Arighi Bianchi’s Festive Family Fun Day – and what a sparkling success it was!
From the moment guests walked through the doors, the magic and excitement of Christmas were everywhere. Families met Santa and his cheeky elf, got up close with real reindeer, and explored our free Christmas adventure trail around the store – it was pure joy at every turn.
Little ones (and big ones too!) rolled up their sleeves for craft activities led by the fabulous Chester Zoo rangers, while our Cheshire pop-ups added extra sparkle to the day. Blue Bear & Co stole hearts with their luxury bespoke teddy bears – complete with heartbeat recordings, voice notes, and even favourite scents – making the perfect personalised gift this festive season.
And it wasn’t just fun and games – the day also had a big heart. Fundraising on the day supported East Cheshire Hospice, reflecting our long-standing commitment to this important local charity, and Chester Zoo, our 2025 charity partner chosen for its strong focus on education, conservation and family engagement.
And of course, no festive day would be complete without delicious food! Caffè AB kept everyone merry and satisfied, serving up Christmas breakfasts and a special children’s menu alongside all the usual brunch and lunch favourites.
“Events like this are about more than footfall,” said our very own Sarah Bianchi. “They’re about creating experiences that bring families together while giving something back to the community that has supported us for generations. Supporting East Cheshire Hospice reflects our commitment to local causes, while our ongoing partnership with Chester Zoo allows us to create engaging, educational experiences for families in a way that feels genuinely meaningful.”
From laughter-filled workshops to magical moments with Santa, a good time was had by all. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, helped us spread some Christmas cheer, and made it such a memorable event – especially the reindeer who were a big hit with guests! We can’t wait to see you again soon.
